Morgan Richie, Communications Specialist. Morgan, in addition to being the SOS Communications Specialist, is the owner of Morgan Richie Creative, LLC and is a photographer, film-maker, and writer. For over 20 years, she worked in marine science and conservation and played key roles in policy, management, and communication initiatives which improved the health of our oceans and coastal ecosystems. As a Natural Resource Manager for the US Navy, she created outreach content which launched the next phase of her career in communications and media arts. Her photography has been featured in several exhibitions and won awards. She served as a Program Manager for the Hawaii Filmmakers Collective and produced 11 short films. She brings her knowledge of science, media, and personal empowerment to the team of SOS, where she guides communication which will empower unhoused neighbors in Richmond, CA. ​
